Winter has arrived in full force here in Colorado, already delivering below-0 temperatures and inches of powdery snow.  Most people know Colorado for its winter sports, such as skiing and snowboarding, but if those don’t tempt you, Colorado has plenty of other fun, outdoor offerings for winter:

Snowshoeing
What began as a method of transportation through deep snow has turned into a fun winter activity. You can snowshoe with friends and family or alone, and it’s a great activity for any age or skill level. As a bonus over taking a ski trip, you don’t need a lift ticket or gear — besides snowshoes, of course — so it’s a cost-effective activity! Ice Skating
You don’t have to be Wayne Gretzky on the ice to enjoy a skating outing!
