nVision Global, a worldwide freight audit, payment and logistics management service provider, is a company founded on innovation and customization. Its corporate motto, in fact, is “tomorrow’s vision today.”
Based in Georgia, but with facilities on four continents and customers spanning the world, nVision Global processes roughly 55 million invoices each year. That’s big business for a company that still prides itself on listening to clients and dynamically customizing its processes to support each customer’s unique business requirements. Such agility demands a high level of communication and collaboration with the customers nVision Global serves.
“As we continue to expand in a global environment, it’s critical that nVision Global continues to communicate effectively to ensure our customers’ expectations are met,” explains nVision Global’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing Keith Snavely.
The customer connection
The desire to maintain a connection with its customers and apply an innovative approach to such dialogue led nVision Global to launch its quarterly newsletter, iFocus, in 2007. The goal was to establish consistent communication with customers while educating customers about nVision Global’s array of products and services. And it had to stand out from what other vendors in the industry were offering.
“When we first started our newsletter, nVision Global wanted a newsletter that was unique and more informational regarding our products and services as they relate to the overall transportation and logistics industry,” Snavely says. “Many of our competitors’ newsletters were repetitive and uninformative regarding the products and services they offer.”
Outsourcing for success
nVision Global selected Proven Systems to produce and manage all aspects of iFocus, and, five years and many successful eNewsletter issues later, is confident it was the right decision.
“When we originally decided to outsource our newsletter, Proven Systems provided a variety of compelling reasons that have gone beyond our expectations,” Snavely explains. “From the process of topic selection in our article matrix, presentation of the newsletter in terms of the look and branding, to Proven Systems’ content recommendations and content research, [Proven Systems’ offerings] are all value priced.”
Such value has proven even more critical for nVision Global during challenging economic times. Although nVision Global continues to experience significant growth, it is committed to streamlining operating expenses so that it can remain a cost-effective option for its customers.
“In today’s economy we are all challenged to do more with less,” Snavely says. “As a business partner, Proven Systems provides valuable insight, recommendations and research that provides for a polished, well thought-out newsletter that allows me to concentrate on our core business.”
“The contribution of Proven Systems’ team is invaluable. We have come to rely on their expertise, recommendations and professionalism. As nVision Global acts as an extension of our customers’ logistics and accounting departments, Proven Systems acts as an extension of our sales and marketing department.”
