Irish and non-Irish people everywhere have started planning for St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17. Full disclosure: I’m not Irish, but I love celebrating. Everything. So of course I’m excited about the upcoming festivities!
You might say I’ve got St. Patrick’s Day on the brain, but I really think you can make some connections between the holiday and our obsession here at Proven Systems: B2B marketing.
- Luck — Strategy, testing, market research, content development, consistency, and great marketing partners will all take you far, but it’s difficult and detail-oriented work. It’s always nice to get a little “Luck of the Irish” to really push your brand and company ahead!
- Beer — It isn’t a St. Patrick’s Day celebration without delicious beer, and research shows that one or two strong ales can spark creativity in any content marketing agency.
- Gold — We’re always striving to get to that pot o’ gold at the end of the marketing rainbow — new clients!
- Shamrock — Finding one of these four-leaf gems is almost as handy as discovering an unbeatable B2B marketing partner. Plus, originally a symbol of spring and rebirth, the shamrock is akin to reinvigorating brands through fresh, new content marketing endeavors.
- Leprechaun — A great marketing team shares one major attribute with this tiny mythical creature: They both work some serious magic to protect their treasure!
Fort Collins, Colo., sits 4,393.5 miles from Dublin, but here in the Choice City we still love to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. There’s always plenty of green everywhere since we’re the home of the green and gold CSU Rams, so getting in the spirit is never difficult. Amanda and I are even participating in the Sharin’ o’ the Green 5K in Old Town on Saturday. Assuming it doesn’t rain, the parade will be fun for everyone, and the live music in Old Town Square in the afternoon will be a great soundtrack for enjoying Odell Brewing Company’s beer.
So in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, we raise an old Irish toast to you and yours from us and ours:
“Here’s to you and yours and to mine and ours. And if mine and ours ever come across to you and yours, I hope you and yours will do as much for mine and ours as mine and ours have done for you and yours!”
