Life’s Too Short for Bad Coffee

It’s widely believed that before coffee became the breakfast drink of choice, early American colonists would drink beer to fuel their day. Being in Fort Collins, the “Napa Valley of Beers,” we can definitely see the appeal for that, but we turn to another brew to start the day: flavorful, intense coffee with complex flavors. After all, life is too short for bad coffee!

It’s so much easier to get up and moving knowing that a pot of freshly brewed coffee awaits. And these cold, snowy mornings in Fort Collins lately are much easier to face with a strong cup of joe in hand.

Even though people all over the world drink coffee, they might not actually know much about the black bean. For instance, coffee actually grows on trees and is a green bean inside a cherry-like fruit before it’s roasted. Check out these other quick facts about coffee from CoffeeCupNews.org:

  • Hawaii is the only U.S. state that grows coffee. (Field trip, anyone?)
  • Lighter roasts have more caffeine.
  • Coffee is second only to oil in worldwide trading.
  • Teddy Roosevelt supposedly drank a gallon a day.

Everyone at Proven Systems is a coffee drinker. We find the robust, satisfying liquid keeps us on our toes for anything that might come our way. Whether we’re dealing with email newsletters or other B2B communications, we rely on coffee to keep those neurons firing.

Proven Systems mugs and coffee

Proven Systems mugs and Success Blend greet each new client.

For years, Kimberly has shipped out Proven Systems mugs to our new clients, but we wanted to do something more to say thanks. That’s why we teamed up with Jackie’s Java, a local coffee roaster, to develop our own unique blend of coffee: the Proven Systems Success Blend. Our roaster takes shade-grown, organic coffee beans from Peru, Indonesia, and Ethiopia and roasts them perfectly, until delicious hints of chocolate and blueberry start to come through. Now we have a delicious, personal gift to offer our new and existing clients.

Great coffee isn’t our only secret to success, but it sure helps keep us inspired! When you come to Fort Collins, stop by our offices and we’ll brew you a cup. Or find an exhaustive list and reviews of our local coffeehouses at this awesome blog, Feasting Fort Collins.

Stop sending boring B2B newsletters! It’s time to energize your communications. Email marc@provensystems.com or call 800 720 5398 for a no-cost consultation. We’ll show you how to engage prospects and get more sales leads.
